Dr. Lea Logie is a Speech and Drama teacher and examiner with over 40 years experience. The subject of Speech and Drama focuses on speech, pronunciation, and applying these to the study of literature. Over many of her years of teaching, Dr. Logie has worked specifically with non-native speakers of English, helping them to improve both their English pronunciation, and their confidence in speaking.
Using the Speech and Drama method to improve pronunciation is much more fun and interesting than just practising drills, because at the same time you are learning something about the culture and literature of the place, rather than just practising sounds.
Dr. Logie has taught not only at her own theatre studio, and one of the best private schools in Western Australia, but has also been touring theatre shows Internationally for many years. She has travelled extensively and has taught students all over the world. With the 8 Keys, she has now decided to share the methods she has developed online as well.
